Great picture Tim , I will take up the challenge , may have to wait till spring . Was very impressed with your mileage on your return crawl home to the city : ) . I will admit sometimes I to wonder why we are cruising at the speeds we do , but than I do like the idea of us passing the odd newer car in our resto type rides . On another topic , the nova made it home , got safetied and is now plated . It developed a vibration on the way home . It started after about the first 150 miles and than ever so slowly got worse . When I got home it was diagnosed as a bent drive shaft . Took it to intergra tire yesterday morning to have it removed and than have Carmen Tufts straighten it . Well , when they were going to remove it they noticed the straps were loose . They tightened them up used a wee lock tight and took it for a drive . Problem solved . The fella I got the car from had just changed the u-joints , and for what ever reasons things became loose . I am lucky it didn’t come apart on the way home , considering that last thirty miles or so I ran car up to about 96 miles an hour , trying figure out where the vibration was at different speeds . It actually smoothed out at the higher speeds . I figured it was because we ( the nova , drive shaft and me ) we probably floating !! Not to bright when I reflect on it . Well that’s it . Happy motoring !
